As RCMP continue their investigation into a Semi-Pedestrian accident along Highway #1 in Swift Current on Thursday, they have now confirmed a 31 year old Man from Winkler Manitoba as the deceased pedestrian. The name of the Man is not being released at the request of his family. No charges have been laid against the driver. The accident occurred around 2:00am on Thursday along Highway #1 and the 6th Avenue Exit.

RCMP and their Traffic Re-Contructionist Team, were on the scene throughout Thursday morning with traffic in the Eastbound lane of the #1 Highway diverted to the South Service Road.
