The Great Plains College SunDogs had a busy weekend on the Basketball court ion Swift Current. Both GPC teams played Saturday and Sunday against the Prairie Pilots in ACAL regular season action. The GPC Men's team won 76-66 Saturday and lost 73-67 Sunday, bringing their record to 1-2 this season. Mike Tuchscherer led the SunDogs' scoring with 22 points Saturday, and Kale Scherger led with 23 points Sunday. Meanwhile the GPC Women's team sit at 0-3 with a 69-10 loss Saturday and a 76-13 loss Sunday. Kelsey MacDonald led the scoring in both games with four points.

Basketball action continues on Friday with the GPC Sundogs Women's team taking on Olds Broncos 2 at 6:30pm at the Swift Current Comp Gym. The GPC Men will play Centre High Griffins at 8:00pm. Saturday's schedule will see the GPC Women in a match up with the Olds Broncos 1 at 6:30pm while the GPC Men take on Olds Broncos 1 at 8:00pm-all games at the Swift Current Comp Gym.
