The Saskatchewan Curling Association Region 1 Playdowns were held at the Swift Current Curling Club over the weekend to determine the qualifiers to the SaskTel Southern Men's Tankard to be held at the Swift Current Curling Club January 19 to 22. Both of the following teams will be representing the Swift Current Curling Club: Qualifier 1 Max Kirkpatrick Team- Skip Max Kirkpatrick, Third Shaun Meachem, Second Jeff Chambers, Lead Shawn Hiebert and Qualifier 2: Rod Quintin Team, Skip Rod Quintin, Third Mitch Minken, Second Tyler Friesen, Lead Jason Senicar.
