Native Prairie Appreciation Week
Now through June 23 is Native Prairie Appreciation Week in Saskatchewan. 2018 marks the 20th annual Native Prairie Appreciation Week, an event unique to Saskatchewan. It is celebrated every year in partnership with the Saskatchewan Prairie Conservation Action Plan as a way to raise awareness and appreciation of the province's native prairie ecosystems. To celebrate, SK PCAP has planned a variety of activities across the province, including urban awareness booths at farmers' markets in Regina, Saskatoon and Swift Current, as well as an activity checklist and a youth poster contest.
