12 students graduated on Friday from the Great Plains College first ever Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician Program. The 10-month certificate program, the first of its' kind in Saskatchewan launched at Great Plains in September 2011, in affiliation with Northern Lights College. The 12 graduates from this year's class also had the opportunity to attain credit in the electrician and industrial mechanic trades, as well as BZEE international certification in the wind energy trade. A total of 98 students graduated from Great Plains College on Friday in a variety of courses.
