Framptonís Case Back in Court
The case involving a father and son duo out of Mankota, charged with numerous offences under the Provincial Wildlife Act, as well as a number of weapon-related criminal code allegations was brought up in Swift Current Provincial Court on Wednesday. Defense council made an application to the Judge to review all of the charges as well as the evidence with the Crown. The Judge approved the application and set a three-day trial for the wildlife matters commencing on December 7th.
55-year-old James Alfred Frampton and 19-year-old Rocky James Frampton are jointly charged on three offences under the Provincial Wildlife Act pertaining to the illegal hunting, wastage and possession of a mule deer dating back to September 2007. James Frampton is facing an additional 8 counts involving big game animals.
