Over 200 volunteers gathered in Elbow on Saturday for their Community Park Build Day. Volunteers started at 7:30am on Saturday with a mission to build a children's play structure, walking path and peace garden in one day. The community's goal was reached by 3:00pm thanks to the dedicated volunteers from Elbow and other communities and the mild weather.

Elbow was able to make the project a reality thanks to winning the $10 000 In Motion Community Challenge, local donations and matching dollars from the Let Them Be Kids Organization, all totaling just over $116 000.
