Great Plains College is pleased to announce that David Keast is the new President and CEO of the educational institution. Keast joins GPC after spending the last two years working as Director of the University of Lethbridge – Edmonton Campus.Keast holds a Ph.D in Educational Administration from the University of Alberta and brings a strong background in post-secondary education to Great Plains College. He had previously worked for nine years as Dean of Career Programs at Portage College in Lac La Biche, Alta. and has an additional 20 years’ post-secondary experience working in research and teaching capacities. Keast replaces Bruce Probert, who has been serving in an interim capacity since November 2011. A public introduction and contract signing will take place at the College in June.

David Keast offcially starts his new position with Great Plains College in Swift Current on July 1.
