08/07/2012 - Aaron Dunsmore of Spruce Grove, AB has been named WMBL C0-MVP for the Swift Current Indians. Dunsmore shares the honor with Lethbridge Bulls second baseman Ridge Gonsoulin. Dunsmore, who was part of the 2010 WMBL Championship team, returned to the Tribe this season to supply leadership and experience and ended up posting great numbers offensively for the young ball club, including a .403 batting average, nine home runs and 42 runs batted in. The Indians are also honoring 2012 WMBL 1st TEAM ALLSTARS: LHP -Garrett Anderson, CATCHER -Wil Thorp, OUTFIELDERS -Aaron Dunsmore. Meanwhile, the 2012 WMBL 2nd TEAM ALLSTARS are: RHP -Cody Chartrand, RHP -Eric Huson, INFIELDERS -Alex Mortensen, OUTFIELDERS-Cam Newell.
