07/10/2012 - Arenas, ball diamonds, community centers and other facilities in Western Canada could soon receive a facelift following an announcement by David Anderson, M.P. for Cypress Hills- Grasslands. The new Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund is open for funding applications from local or regional governments or related agencies; Provincial entities that provide municipal-type services to communities; non-profit organizations; and First Nation governments, including Band or Tribal Councils or their legally-designated representatives.
